We should remember that there is a big group of verbs which are followed by a gerund. To put it briefly just to remind you, that means we should use a gerund after specific verbs. Gerund itself is an -ing form used as a noun.
For example 👇
I enjoy walking.
I avoid walking along in the evening.
She admitted having stolen the purse.
The same rule is applied when we you use gerunds with the passive.

My brother is getting better after being taken to the hospital.
I enjoyed being invited to the party.
She is star but she hates being interviewed.
